Qualifications in Wales are changing. The new Made-for-Wales GCSEs are set to be taught in schools across Wales from September 2025 and new VCSEs will also be rolled out soon.
Join Policy Insight Wales this autumn for our new Qualifications Reform Wales Conference which will be a timely opportunity to hear about latest reforms and ensure you are prepared to deliver new qualifications in your setting.
Keynote speaker Cassy Taylor, Director of Qualifications Policy and Reform at Qualifications Wales will provide practical insights to help you prepare for the rollout of Made-for-Wales GCSEs and VCSEs. Following the implementation of the Curriculum for Wales, learn how qualifications will align with the new Areas of Learning and Experience.
As we approach the first year of teaching Made-for-Wales GCSEs, it is crucial that staff feel equipped to support pupils through this transition. Join us to hear directly from sector leaders and best practice settings on how you can upskill staff and manage workloads in your setting.
We will spotlight key issues including how to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, including industry partners, to ensure learners are prepared for the future.
With increased focus on effectively utilising digital technology, you will learn about the next steps for assessment and how to improve flexibility for learners.
Join us online this November to understand the next steps for reform and be prepared to deliver new qualifications in your setting.
